Chalet Gertrud Gabl is our flagship luxury chalet in St Anton and a favourite among many. It is situated in the peaceful Stadle area of St. Anton with fabulous views from every room overlooking the Rendl mountain range and the Moostal valley. Only a 10 minute walk away from the hustle and bustle of the main pedestrian zone, it is easy to dip in and out of St Anton’s vibrant night life whilst still enjoy the tranquillity and essence of the Arlberg. This luxury chalet in St Anton was newly built in 2007 using a blend of contemporary and traditional styles and offers eight comfortable en suite rooms, all of which can accommodate either twins or doubles.

The highlights of the Chalet Gertrud Gabl are the very comfortable living area, with its deep sofas, roaring fire and floor to ceiling mountain views and our ‘wellness area’ complete with an Alpine sauna and a bubbling hot tub on the terrace.

Within the chalet we have created a feel of quality ‘home from home’ luxury; Tyrolean antiques mixed with modern furnishings and amenities such as free wifi for your laptop, a bose docking station, boot warmers, and a massive selection of dvd’s. The chalet is fantastic for friends, families or corporate groups and we also take bookings on a room to room basis.

We offer a complimentary shuttle service in the morning and afternoons (8.30 – 10.30 and 15.30 – 19.00) to the lifts and back. Also included is ski storage for rental or personal equipment in ‘Alber Sport Check in Galzig’, which is situated on the door step of the Galzig and Rendl cable cars, the Gampen chair lift and the ski school meeting points.

The chalet is dedicated to Gertrud Gabl, (26.08.1948 - 18.01.1976), the chalet owner's mother, who won the Alpine skiing World Cup in 1969. The chalet holds the World Cup trophy, along with other Olympic and World Cup memorabilia. You'll also find some of Getrud Gabl's original skiing photographs displayed throughout the chalet. Shortly after Gertrud Gabl hung up her competition skis and had her daughter, Barbara, she died tragically in an avalanche on Rendl North Face. She will always be remembered as one of St Anton's heroines.
