Private transfers

Taxis are available to meet flights from Innsbruck (1hr), Zurich (2.15hrs) and Friedrichshafen (1.45hrs). They can accomodate groups from 1-16. Booking taxis couldn't be easier; we will liase with Taxi Harry - then they will e mail you directly with the booking form and payment details.

Trains

St Anton is on the main train line from Zurich to Vienna. Trains arrive in St Anton daily from Salzburg (approx 3.15hrs), Friedrichshafen (2.50hrs), Innsbruck, (1hr) Zurich (3hrs) and Munich (4.20hrs).

Hire Car

Hire Cars are available from all the major airports. It is important that you let us know in advance if you wish to hire a car as we only have limited parking at the chalets. PLEASE NOTE: St Anton law requires that you have winter tyres and snow chains (in your vehicle) for travelling on the roads. You must also have a Vignette for travelling on motorways which can be purchased at any petrol station in Austria. Be aware that the speed limit on motorways is 120km/hr.

Buses

Buses from Friedrichshafen, Zurich or Innsbruck with Loaker Tours coincide with Ryan Air flights. Tel. 0043 (0)664 518 7040 or visit their website at www.aiport-bus.at for prices and information. Let us know if you are travelling with them and we can pick you up from the drop off point at the train station.

Car

If you wish to travel to St Anton by car, it is approximately a 12 hour drive from Calais. We offer limited parking at the chalets, please let us know in advance if you require this. PLEASE NOTE: St Anton law requires that you have winter tyres and snow chains (in your vehicle) for travelling on the roads. From the direction of the Arlberg Tunnel, Innsbruck and Munich:

The tunnel is 8.50 euros and brings you out at Pettneu. From here you turn right out of the tunnel, over the bridge and follow the road around to the T junction. From the motorway take the St Anton exit and follow the slip road around to the right. At the T junction turn right again towards St Anton. Follow the road straight (1km), past the turnings to the town center on your right and the train station on your left until you get to a round about. Take the 2nd turning and follow the road past the Rendlbahn. Carry on straight up the hill. On the left hand side after Haus Harry you will see a large 'K'. Take the road on the right 'Carl Schulerweg'. For chalet Der Alte Stadl carry straight on and through the brown open gates. Go along the drive way until you come to a courtyard with parking on your left. Der Alte Stadl is the chalet at the end with a wooden tree next to the door. For the chalet Gertrud Gabl follow the directions as before but after turning on to Carl Schulerweg, then turn right again on to Schulerhofweg. Follow this road round to the left up the hill and take the right hand turn where the road splits at the top of the hill. Carry on going and we are the first house at the end.

From the direction of the Arlberg Pass (this can be taken if the roads are completely clear and there has not been a snowfall for a while, if not take the tunnel), Zurich and Friedrichshafen:

You will enter St Anton from the West side. Follow the road down past the Mooserkreuz, around the large bend to the right and then to the left. Continue down the hill until you see a mirror on the right and a large 'K'. Turn left opposite this onto 'Carl Schulerweg'. For chalet Der Alte Stadl carry straight on and through the brown open gates. Go along the drive way until you come to a courtyard with parking on your left. Der Alte Stadl is the chalet at the end with a wooden tree next to the door. For the chalet Gertrud Gabl follow the directions as before but after turning on to Carl Schulerweg, then turn right again on to Schulerhofweg. Follow this road round to the left up the hill and take the right hand turn where the road splits at the top of the hill. Carry on going and we are the first house at the end.
